Wake Tech Athletics Congratulates Honor Roll Athletes

RALEIGH, NC - Brian Anweiler, Athletic Director, would like to congratulate 44 student-athletes who were recognized by the college for earning a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester.

Seven student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA in the Fall of 2019 and additional 14 were at 3.5 or higher.

"We know it is a challenge managing the demands of academic and athletic success," said Anweiler. "We are very proud of these students for exemplifying the definition of being a student-athlete at Wake Tech."

Three sophomore student-athletes have managed to achieve high marks for their dedication to success on the field and in the classroom.  Volleyball's Breelyn Clark (Honolulu, Hawaii) and baseball's Christopher Mills (Winterville, NC) and Kevin Mills (Winterville, NC) have maintained perfect GPA's during their time at Wake Tech.

The student-athletes will be recognized for their academic achievement's at the men's basketball game on January 29 at the Scott Northern Wake Campus.
