Wake Tech hosting 2022 NJCAA Region 10 Volleyball Championship
Wake Technical Community College is hosting the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 10 Division II Volleyball Championship October 28-29 at Conlon Hall Gymnasium (Building K) on the Scott Northern Wake Campus.
RALEIGH, NC – Wake Technical Community College is hosting the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 10 Division II Volleyball Championship October 28-29 at Conlon Hall Gymnasium (Building K) on the Scott Northern Wake Campus.
The top four teams from the East Division and top four teams from the West Division will battle for the Region 10 championship. The region champion gets an automatic spot in the NJCAA DII National Championship Tournament held November 17-19 at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids, IA.
NJCAA Region 10 is comprised of two-year college athletic programs from North Carolina, South Carolina, and most of Virginia.
Two teams competing are ranked in the current Division II NJCAA national rankings. Richard Bland (Va.) College is ranked No. 6 and Cape Fear Community College is ranked No. 18.
Admission to the tournament is free. Games will also be live streamed on the Wake Tech Sports YouTube channel (click HERE).

The tournament quarterfinals will be on Friday, October 28.
Game 1 - (12:00) Richard Bland College vs. USC-Lancaster
Game 2 - (2:00) Davidson-Davie CC vs. Fayetteville Tech CC
Game 3 - (4:00) Surry CC vs. Bryant & Stratton CC
Game 4 - (6:00) Cape Fear CC vs. Catawba Valley CC
On, Saturday, October 29 Semifinals will start at 10am with highest remaining seed playing the opening game at 10am. The championship game will start at approximately 3pm.

• Game 5 - 10:00 am
• Game 6 - 12:00 pm
Championship - 30-minute break followed by 30-minute warm-up
