This Week in Wake Tech Athletics: February 6-12

RALEIGH, NC – Several Wake Tech spring sports seasons gets underway while men's and women's basketball are in the final weeks of their respective regular seasons.

Beach Volleyball is reintroduced this week with a scrimmage against Catawba College starting at 2pm at Southern Sand beach volleyball complex in Apex, NC.

Baseball stays in Wake County on Wednesday, but they are at the USA Baseball National Training Center against William Peace University JV for a 4pm single game.  The Eagles home opener is slated for Saturday for a doubleheader against Mid-Atlantic Christian University. First pitch is at noon at Ting Stadium in Holly Springs.  

Women's Basketball has their final regular season home game on Thursday when they host Catawba Valley Community College at 6pm.  That game is at the Scott Northern Wake Campus Gymnasium in Conlon Hall (Bldg. K).

Men's Basketball host Louisburg College on Saturday at 3pm at the Southern Wake Tech Campus Gym in Building N.

Baseball hosts two doubleheaders this weekend.  On Saturday, Mid-Atlantic Christian is at Ting Stadium for noon first pitch. The Eagles host Community College of Baltimore County – Dundalk at 11am on Sunday.

Men's Basketball (3pm) vs. Louisburg College – South Campus Gym (Bldg. N)

Sunday, February 12
Baseball (11am DH) vs. CCBC Dundalk – Ting Stadium, Holly Springs, NC
