Beach Volleyball set for national tournament in Huntsville, AL
RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake Tech Beach Volleyball is headed to Huntsville, AL for the NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship, beginning May 1. The Eagles enter the tournament as the #7-seed, and will compete in a pool against State College of Florida, Lake-Sumter State, and Region 10 foe Sandhills.
"I'm really excited for our team," head coach Darren Roberts said. "We've worked hard this season, and we are looking forward to showcase our program on the national stage."
The Eagles went 2-2 in conference play and entered the Region 10 Tournament as the #2-seed. They join #4-seed Richard Bland and #6-seed Sandhills as the Region 10 representatives in the field.
