Eagles Get Past Rockingham, 7-2
The Eagles built an early lead against Rockingham CC, scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 7-2 win on Sunday, February 14 at North Main Athletic Complex in Holly Springs.

The Eagles scored in the first inning on a two-run double by Angel Santiago and an RBI single by Doug Taylor.
Justin Huggins handled Rockingham CC's lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Huggins allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks over seven innings.
The Eagles' Austin Warren, Santiago and Travis Owens combined for four hits and four RBIs.
After pushing across one run in the top of the third, Rockingham CC faced just a 3-1 deficit. An RBI double by Haskell sparked Rockingham CC's rally. Witner flew out to end the Rockingham CC threat.
It didn't take long for the Eagles to answer as they scored two runs of their own in the third. The Eagles scored on a two-run double by Owens.
The Eagles tacked on another two runs in the fifth. A error scored Santiago for the inning's first run.
After pushing across one run in the top of the seventh, Rockingham CC faced just a 7-2 deficit. An RBI single by Paclee triggered Rockingham CC's comeback. Finally, Huggins got Witner to fly out to end the game.
