Early Lead Gives Eagles 11-3 Victory
The Eagles jumped out to an early lead on Chesapeake CC and captured an 11-3 victory on Saturday at North Main Athletic Complex.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Eagles left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
An RBI single by Keegan Woolford and a sacrifice fly by Travis Owens during the first inning and an RBI double by Caleb Coyle, an RBI single by Matt Mauldin, and a two-run double by Garrett Wise in the second inning fueled the Eagles' offense early.
Wise put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Eagles.
Justin Huggins was in control on the mound. Huggins gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his five innings of work.
The Eagles' Mauldin, Wise, Coyle and Jacob Sipe combined for 11 hits and six RBIs.
Wojciechowski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
