MLB All-Star Visits Southern Wake Campus

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher and Clayton, North Carolina, native, Chris Archer spent time during the off season mentoring Wake Tech baseball players. The two-time All-Star spoke to the team about the importance of higher education, keeping a positive attitude, and what it takes to succeed in the major league

Head coach Eric Sibrizzi was thankful for the visit: "The team was  grateful to have the opportunity to meet with a major league player. They are more motivated than ever to get work done in the classroom and on the field."
