Wake Tech Esports tryouts are set for Saturday, August 21. That's right, it's time to get your game on with S-Tier players in Rocket League, Overwatch, and Valorant!

Wake Tech Esports, the Spring 2021 NJCAAE National Champions in Overwatch, will be returning to the virtual arena to compete against the top 2-year colleges in the nation.

Do you like the best gaming computers around? Yeah, so do we. Wake Tech Esports is home to top-tier gaming computers.14 Lenovo Legions can be found at the Wake Tech Esports room at the South Campus Building N Room 117.

Do you also consider esports an elite group of gamers who practice, communicate, and compete at the same level of varsity athletics? Of course you do, and so do we. Wake Tech Esports teams are considered Varsity Student-Athletes and receive jerseys, have scheduled practice times, have coaches, and tryouts.

Wake Tech Tryouts will occur August 21st from 11:00am-10:00pm on the Wake Tech Esports Discord server.

Rocket League: 11:00am-2:00pm

Valorant: 3:00-6:00pm

Overwatch: 7:00-10:00pm (Overwatch has a 2-day tryout. Day 2 occurs on August 22nd from 7:00-10:00p in-person at the esports room. 9101 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603 Building N Room 117)

Students must be full-time and have greater than a 2.0 GPA to compete.
