Aaron Latigue Selected Second Team All-Region

Freshman Aaron Latigue was named 2^nd Team All-Region Center Back for Region X in the NJCAA.  Latigue, a natural midfielder, took on the challenge of filling a key role as center back which was foreign to him.  "Aaron did what I asked and what was needed for the team without hesitation.  With his size, strength, smarts, and defending capabilities I knew he could transition well.  I not only needed a skilled player there, but a vocal leader as well, which Aaron has shown to be", said Coach Statum.  Aaron finished the season with 15 games played and started every match.  Even though playing as a center back he was still able to score 2 goals off of penalty kicks and recorded one assist.
