Bio
Brandon Kind was named head coach of the Wake Tech Men's Soccer program in August 2024, just one game into the season. He took the reins from Omar Asad, who departed for an assistant coaching role at NCAA DI Campbell University. He initially joined the Wake Tech staff as an assistant in 2022.

Wake Tech finished the regular season in second place, an effort that led to Kind being named the Region 10 DII Coach of the Year.
In his second season, Kind led the team to to the program's first Region 10 championship game since 2010. The team finished with eight wins and had seven All-Region honorees. While they fell just short in the Region 10 DII championship against Louisburg, the campaign ended as one of the most successful in program history.
Prior to Wake Tech was the head coach at his alma mater, Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee for 10 years (2006-14). While at the helm, he led the Hilltoppers to multiple state championship finals. He was then head coach at Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida for five years (2016-20).
Kind lives in Raleigh with his wife, Laura and their three children, where he has coached for Wake Tech and North Carolina FC at the club level.
