Khadijah Daniels scored 31 points as Wake Tech cruised to a much needed victory over Lenoir Community College. With the win, the Eagles remain within striking distance of the top half of the conference standings.
Freshman standout Timia Grant added 15 points and DaShawna Smith contributed 14 points in the win. Lakendra Carroll fell shy of double digits with 9 points for the Eagles.
If Wake Tech would like to ascend the conference standings, the remainder of the month of January will offer them the oportuinity to make it happen. Four of their next six games are against teams in the top half of the conference including their next game against Bryant & Stratton scheduled for Thursday, January 18th at 6:00pm.
