I think we've said this more than once during the 2017-2018 women's basketball season: If Wake Tech is looking to improve their conference standing, a win over Patrick Henry would go a long way.
Eleven days ago the Eagles traveled to Martinsville, Virginia to battle the Patriots. Eleven days ago the Eagles were sent home with a 73-63 loss. This time Wake Tech is playing with the mindset that they have nothing to lose. They've faced adversity, but continue to rise to the occasion when playing at home.
Khadijah Daniels, Myrayna Watkins, DaShawna Smith, and Timia Grant will need to step up early and often to make sure the Eagles stay in the game through all four quarters.
