Wake Tech Women’s Basketball ranked nationally
The first NJCAA regular season women’s basketball poll was released on Monday and the Wake Tech Eagles are listed in the Top-20.
The first NJCAA regular season women's basketball poll was released on Monday and the Wake Tech Eagles are listed in the Top-20.
Wake Tech is off to a 3-1 early start with wins over Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute, Fayetteville Technical Community College, and the Community College of Baltimore County (MD) – Essex.
In addition to Wake Tech, two other Region 10 teams are in the first Top-20 poll. Cape Fear Community College is ranked 17 and USC Salkehatchie is ranked 20th. Louisburg College and Catawba Valley Community College both received votes.
The Eagles will put their national ranking to the test on Wednesday, Nov. 13, against CFCC in an early match-up of nationally ranked teams. Tip-off is set for 6pm at the Southern Wake Tech Campus.
