Raleigh, N.C. — Despite a strong comeback effort, the Wake Tech volleyball team fell to Caldwell Tech in five sets (22-25, 13-25, 25-23, 25-22, 10-15) on Saturday afternoon in Conlon Hall. The Eagles are now 1-1 on the season.
Caldwell Tech took the first two frames, and it looked like the Eagles were in for a rough afternoon, but they proved resilient the match went the distance. After storming back to win sets three and four, the team ultimately fell short in the fifth. Freshman outside hitter Jenna Carlson got the winning kill in the third set.
