Wake Tech was up for the challenge against conference rival Louisburg College on Wednesday, September 13. After claiming the first set 26-24, the Hurricanes rattled off three consecutive sets 22-25, 18-25, 16-25 to defeat the Eagles 3 sets to 1.
It's a slight setback for the Eagles, who are still searching for a key victory in the young season. Wake Tech has a chance to shake off the loss when they travel to Guilford Technical Community College on Thursday, September 14.
